It was brought to my attention via blogs I follow that today is National Dog Day. My dachshund Walter has helped me so much. He is such a loving, friendly and playful dog.
I love any excuse to show Walter off. We are very lucky to have him. Happy National Dog Day Walter!!!

He’s so cute? Hey, I have a question for you. How do you feel about when people race dachshunds? I personally don’t agree with it since dachshunds are known to have issues with their legs. I was just curious what your opinion was on it since you have one.

I don’t like the idea of people racing dachshunds. We are hugely conscious of Walter’s back and legs x

My mom has this friend who every year goes with someone she knows and races her dachshund, I just think it’s so wrong!
